Twitch has caused controversy for WWE in the past

WWE and Twitch

In 2020, the company first asked its talent to deactivate their Twitch accounts. Later, they offered a new deal that allowed performers to keep streaming, but they had to share some of their revenue with WWE. In April of this year, WWE and Twitch made a new agreement that allowed talent to return to the platform with relatively few limitations. It appears that this new partnership is simply an extension of that ongoing relationship.
