TwitchCon 2022 San Diego Recap

It was three days of non-stop fun and excitement as TwitchCon 2022 San Diego came to a close on October 9. This year's convention was one for the books, with streamers and fans from all over coming together to celebrate all things Twitch. From panels and workshops to cosplay contests and meet-and-greets, there was something for everyone at TwitchCon 2022 San Diego.

Here is a recap of some of the highlights from this year's event

Here is a recap of some of the highlights from this year's event

One of the most popular panels at TwitchCon this year was "How to Make It as a Streamer." The panel featured some of Twitch's biggest names, including xQc, Myth, and Pokimane. They shared their tips and tricks for success on Twitch, as well as what it takes to maintain a successful channel. If you're looking to get into streaming, or are just curious about the behind-the-scenes of Twitch, this panel is a must-watch.

Another highlight from TwitchCon was the cosplay contest. There were some amazing costumes on display, ranging from simple to elaborate. The level of detail and craftsmanship that went into these costumes was truly impressive. If you're a fan of cosplay, or just want to see some amazing costumes, be sure to check out the cosplay contest highlights reel.

While the event started off with high hopes, many people left feeling hurt and angry. Some were even injured. People attending the event were able to participate in an interactive exhibit where they had to “battle” each other by standing on one of two platforms suspended over a foam pit. The exhibit was run by Lenovo and Intel.

The only problem was that the foam cubes were scattered over concrete that was barely a foot deep. Streamer Loch Vaness dislocated her knee and another streamer, and adult film actress Adriana Chechik broke her back and is going to need surgery.

The exhibit was still open on Sunday morning, even though there were some reports of injuries. The staff invited people to try it out after they signed waivers, but most people seemed too afraid. People were taking photos and being curious from a distance, but no one wanted to actually participate.

Despite the injuries, TwitchCon was an overall success. There was a lot to do and see, and it was great to see so many people come together to celebrate Twitch. If you missed out on this year's event, be sure to check out the highlights reel and start planning for TwitchCon 2023. We'll see you there!
